An emotionally repressed podcast host has decided to walk away from her iconoclastic show and conform to the ideal of motherhood, much to the dismay of her playfully cynical trust-fund partner. Fearing he is losing the woman and non-conformist rebel he depends on, and her feeling unable to live up to the fun-loving radical rhetoric of her show as well as becoming a mother, the couple find themselves in an ideological grid-lock.

Things take a turn for the worst when the rogue machination of the soon-tobe mother’s pre-natal depression gatecrashes the soirée and threatens the life of their unborn child.
