Transgender teen Dorothy struggles to fit in at her rural American school where time has stood still since the 50’s. When a freak storm transports her to the Land of Oz she discovers the actions of her great grandmother (the original Dorothy) have set in motion a terrifying war - Oz seeks to rule all the lands as a dark usurper, and the once allied kingdoms of scarecrow, the lion and tinman have become poisoned by distrust and locked in a vicious cycle of deceit and destruction.

Dorothy’s arrival forces an unwelcome reunion between the warring kingdoms ~ one that might be their only hope of overthrowing tyrant Oz and restoring harmony to the once united lands.
