Ex Animo is led by a director with 25 years in film. We work with a small number of brands and organisations on films built around character, world and feeling, the things an audience carries with them afterwards.
Our productions are human-led and generatively made. A writer shapes the story, a director shapes every frame, and generative production gives us the range to set that story in whatever era, place or world it belongs.
How We Work

Narrative
We begin with your brand's story and find the film inside it. You receive a written treatment with a clear point of view before production begins.

Direction
A writer and a director stay with your film from the first conversation to the final grade. Performance, design and edit are led by people who make films for a living.

Production
Human-led generative production, combined with live action where it serves the story. Look development, storyboard and scene reviews are shared with you at every stage.
